Swivel Bells™

Here are 3 very important factors regarding the benefits of Swivel Bells training which makes it a superior implement for all athletes and fitness enthusiasts:

Applying force into another object

SB’s teach the muscles to fire in multi-functional balance

Cross body force transfer

Most any implement can be used to achieve 1 or more of these anatomical functions. The uniqueness of the SB allows you to develop all 3 principles at one time and to a much greater degree. I have written extensively about centripetal and centrifugal forces. These are very important principles to understand and implement into all training regimens.

Centripetal force is proportional to the square of the velocity. Simply stated, doubling the speed at which the SB is moving requires 4 times the centripetal force to keep the motion in a circle. In turn applied force, transference of force and receiving force are compounded 4 times greater than using conventional implements such as barbells and dumbbells. DB’s and BB’s teach the muscles to fire independently rather than multi-functional.

Cross body force transfer is also greater using SB’s over other implements regardless of what type of exercises one uses; especially rotations and unilateral exercises. Very few implements can compare to the SB regarding cross body force transference. The exceptional design and exercises allow one to transfer energy from left to right and from top to bottom at an extremely high rate of force; impossible with most other implements.

NOTE: Other implements can be used in the same manner as SB’s, but, the safety factor is extremely high risk to the user as well as others nearby. DO NOT use towels or ropes on other implements in order to mimic the SB. This will only increase your chances of injuring your wrists, shoulders and neck. The Swivel Bells was specifically designed with optimum safety for every practical use to enhance physical fitness.

The chart below depicts the use of different force applications and how it relates to physiological functions.
