Here’s a quote from an article I read recently:
“Many men with normal levels will also want to use testosterone gel. Strong data shows that it can help athletes with normal levels of testosterone recover faster from workouts and become much stronger, and make normal men more aggressive.”
This is a classic example of what not to suggest to athletes!
Doesn’t the author know testosterone is a banned substance? World class athletes have been suspended from competition for using testosterone.
The article goes on to state:
“High blood levels of testosterone increase sexual desire in both men and women. High doses of testosterone can damage your liver, and while moderate doses will not cause prostate cancer, they can spread a cancer that is already there. We don't know yet whether it is safe for men with normal levels of testosterone to use the gels.”
This bit of information is very important to know and I’m happy to see this data is out there for those who are considering using testosterone.
If you happen to be a man or woman suffering from low T-levels, you need to evaluate your nutrition intake and exercise regimen.
Dirty foods are filled with estrogenic chemicals which interfere with T-production. Eating primarily organic foods will help tremendously to overcome low T-levels.
Secondly, specific exercises will increase & release free testosterone levels in the blood. It has been proven in many studies that heavy lifting with full body exercises will provide the means to increase T-levels. 2 of the best lifts are squats and dead lifts. These 2 exercises must be done with 90%-100% of your max poundage. You will need to rest from 3-5 minutes between sets for T-production to take place. This program must be done on a regular basis to be effective.
There you have it folks! Use common sense and a safe & effective approach to improve your health to continue an active and vibrant lifestyle.
