Vegetarians and Vegans are often criticized for their lack of animal based diet. The 2 most criticisms are lack of quality protein and the absence of vitamin D.
Vitamin D can easily be processed through yearly exposure to the sun; more so in some places than in others.
If you think you’re only able to get Vitamin D from animal sources, take another look.
Mushrooms provide a large amount of a unique ingredient and you do not have to eat an entire bushel full.
The key ingredient which aids in vitamin D consumption is ergosterol. This sterol is a Vitamin D precursor, which basically, means get it and you get enough vitamin D for proper physiological functions.
For optimum health and increased fitness, combine mushrooms and sunshine and you will never have to worry about vitamin D deficiency.
