Flexibility and aging tend to go hand-in-hand, depending how you define aging.

The lack of flexibility is not due to aging; rather it’s due to incorrect motor patterns and the wrong type of exercise or the lack of exercise.

There are many young people, chronologically speaking, who train 6 days per week in commercial gyms and can’t even come close to touching their toes!

Just because they look good in the mirror they don’t realize the “aging” process is already setting in. These individuals are aging far quicker than necessary!

Individuals who have flexibility & strength defy gravity and have an abundance of vitality and relentless energy.

The reason for this is due to the fact that the greater range of motion the joints are capable of and the more flexible the soft tissue is, equates to less energy being used to move from point to point.
Combined with strength allows the individual to perform task effortlessly.

This is all part of a well planned conditioning program which prepares the body for sport specific development as well as executing everyday tasks which life demands.
