Oksana Chusovitina is a 37 year old female gymnast and former Olympic gold medalist and the defending World silver medalist who competed in this year’s London Olympics.
She had competed against girls 15-20 years younger and kept right up with them.
For a woman her age, and this is meant to be a positive comment, is extra-ordinary!!!
To maintain that level of athleticism, giving child birth and dealing with the changes the body goes through as we mature is all extremely challenging.
AND she overcame all of it with dedication, desire and no excuses!

American, Haley Anderson is a 20 year old open water 10K swimmer who just won a silver medal in the London 2012 Olympics.
This was truly one of the more exciting races in the Olympics.
After swimming 6.2 miles the finish was the closest ever!
26 year old Eva Risztov, of Hungary, won gold in 1 hour 57 minutes 38.2 seconds to Anderson’s 1:57:38.6.
Bronze went to Grimaldi who was timed in 1:57:41.8 and Payne of Great Britain finished 4th in 1:57:42.2.
Exactly 4 seconds separated these four incredible women after being in the water for nearly 2 hours.
Hats off to all of them!!!!!

He competed in his sixth Olympics in London.
He has won Olympic medals and many World Championship medals throughout his career.

The oldest athlete to ever compete in the Olympics was a Swedish shooter named Oscar Swahn who won bronze at the age of 72 at the 1920 Antwerp Games.
This is an wonderful example of what living a life of dreams, goals and desire means.

Fabiana Oliveira, from Brazil, executed one of the most spectacular saves in the women's volleyball match against South Korea.
She made an incredible bicycle kick save during the second set of their match against South Korea.
You gotta check this out! She saved the ball, the team scored and the crowd went crazy insane.
